Copyright Standard for Libraries/IDS
The use of copyrighted materials whether print, media, or electronic, is limited by federal statute. The University of Detroit Mercy Libraries and Instructional Design Studio productions, duplications, graphics, media, or downloading of information, including the service provided to faculty and students, must comply with the copyright regulations. The Copyright Revision Act of 1976 and the 1998 Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Fair Use Guidelines, and The TEACH Act are applied in the use of all copyrighted materials for teaching, learning, scholarship, or creative endeavors.
