Coalition for Juvenile Justice

From their website:"The Coalition for Juvenile Justice (CJJ) informs policy makers, advocates and the public about the interplay of prevention, rehabilitation and accountability in reducing juvenile crime and delinquency.” The CJJ is a "national nonprofit association representing governor-appointed advisory groups on juvenile justice from the U.S. states, territories and the District of Columbia.

Michigan State Appellate Office and Criminal Defense Resource Center

The CDRC "To provide legal resources and training materials to support private criminal defense practitioners assigned to represent indigent criminal defendants, to enhance the quality and effectiveness of that representation and reduce indigent defense..." Find ordinances and statutes at the local, state and national levels, as well as court rules, and court decisions for the state, the region, and the Supreme Court. In 2008, the CDRC Criminal Defense Wiki was added--"an interactive database of information about state courts and criminal defense practice."

National Center for Juvenile Justice

The National Center for Juvenile Justice is the research division of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges in Reno, NV. Their mission is "effective justice for children and families. ..through research and technical assistance." "We keep current on all aspects of juvenile and family law (both statutory and case law), and track and maintain historical information on these issues."

National Juvenile Defender Center

The Center "gives juvenile defense attorneys a more permanent capacity to address practice issues, improve advocacy skills, build partnerships, exchange information, and participate in the national debate over juvenile crime.:  As such it maintains listservs for juvenile defenders, provides a yearly Juvenile Defender Resource Guide with law review articles, court cases, studies, etc. published the previous year, comparative state data, technical assistance, policy development, and more.

W. Haywood Burns Institute for Juvenile Justice Fairness and Equity

Their mission:..."helps to protect and improve the lives of youth of color and poor youth by promoting and ensuring fairness and equity in youth-serving systems. " Site not updated very often but contains interesting information.  For example, under Resources, the interactive State Data Map allows you to find information on juvenile justice in each state.
