Connolly served as the President of the Deanery of Detroit, East Side [p.354]; on the Board of Priest Fund [p.354]; and, the Orphan Board [p.354]. Rev. Connolly also served the parishioners of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament. The Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws was conferred on Rev. Connolly during Commencement, University of Detroit, June 20, 1917.
