Tom Angott, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mercy College of Detroit, has distinguished himself as a successful businessman, civic leader and a stalwart supporter of Catholic education. As president of Detroit Pure Milk Company, Twin Pines Farm Dairy, Wesley’s Quaker Maid, Inc. and Michigan Beverage Company, he is widely recognized as a leader in the dairy industry. A community activist, Mr. Angott is involved in many civic organizations including the Michigan Cancer Foundation, Mount Carmel Mercy Hospital, the Michigan Osteopathic Foundation, Orchestra Hall, and the International Institute. A graduate of the University of Detroit, he is currently a member of both U of D’s President’s Cabinet and the President’s Club of Mercy College.
