Professor of Economics and Accounting and Dean of the Department of Commerce and Finance, Univesity of Detroit 1928 Citation: Upon Carl Henry Seehofer, Bachelor of Laws, Master of Commercial Science, Certified Public Account and, for that by his proficiency in his profession he has merited to be honored by seven state and national associations of accounting, to be called upon on sundry and various occasions to give to them the benefit of his professional research and to produce a book on business organization, for that he had preferred to other distinctions and emolument the service of professor in the University of Detroit, the University of Detroit confers the Degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa.
