He is unquestionably the most readily recognized name in our surgical specialty throughout the world. His publications attest to his importance in international education over the years and the individual surgeons whom he has touched educationally in one way or another are innumerable. There are several members of the university Dental School faculty who have benefited directory from Professor Obwegeser's teaching.
