Index Card Collection
Maurice Greenia, Jr. has made over 6000 drawings on blank index cards. He came to this number by counting how many drawings were in a pile an inch thick, then multiplying this by how many inches of work he had.
Most of these were done in the 1980's and 1990's. A few were done in the late 1970's.
He rarely uses this format now, preferring to use small sketchbooks with better quality paper.
It was convenient, because he could carry them in his shirt pocket and create on the move. Most are in black and white. There are a number of them in color or using colored ink instead of black ink.
