A series of semi-rigid, tetra-dentate ligands, all utilizing 4,4’-diaminidicyclohexylmethane has been produced, and characterized by multi-nuclear NMR.  Attempts have also been made to synthesize and isolate ligand-metal complexes incorporating two metal ions to each of the resultant tetra-dentate ligands.  Attempted characterization has been via NMR, and when possible, single crystal growth.  Results and findings will be presented.
