EUPOPEAN BELIEF IN VAMPIRES

WHEN A PERSON DIES IN EUROPE, A SPRIG OF HAWTHORNE
IS LAYED OUT BY THE GRAVE. IF THE DEAD PERSON IS A
VAMPIRE, HE MUST PICK UP THE SPRIG OF THE HAWTHORNE.
ONCE THIS IS DONE, THE TOWNS PEOPLE TAKE THE APPROPRIATE
MEASURES SO THAT THE PERSON DOES NOT COME BACK FROM THE DEAD.
