The FAITS database offers several different report types including technology tutorials, marketplace overviews, product and service selection guides, product and company profiles, and directories. It contains concise reports covering such key technology areas as IT infrastructure, telecom, data networking, wireless communications, security, enterprise systems, the Internet and World Wide Web, as well as technology vendors. FAITS also has links to major online technology and business news resources like Nando Net, The New York Times, Financial Times, NewsBytes, and the BBC, and direct links to online bibliographic resources for topics in business, computer science, education, health sciences, humanities, math and science, and the social sciences. FDsys: Federal Digital System

In 1993, Congress passed the U.S. Government Printing Office Electronic Information Access Enhancement Act (Public Law 103-40), which expanded GPO's mission to provide electronic access to Federal electronic information. In June 1994, GPO launched GPO Access, which provides online access to information from all three branches of the Federal Government. For more than 15 years, GPO Access has been America's source for Government information online, but now GPO is unveiling the next generation of Government information online with GPO's Federal Digital System (FDsys).

FDsys provides free online access to official Federal Government publications. Through FDsys, you are able to:

    FDsys provides advanced search capabilities and the ability to refine and narrow your search for quick access to the information you need.
    Browse for documents and publications
    FDsys offers browsing by collection, Congressional committee, and date.
    Access metadata about documents and publications
    FDsys presents information about Government publications in standard XML formats.
    Download documents and publications in multiple renditions or file formats
    With FDsys, download a single file or download content and metadata packaged together in a compressed file.

The FDLP Desktop serves as a centralized resource for the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP), which disseminates U.S. Government information to the American public through libraries across the nation.

FedStats

FedStats, which has been available to the public since 1997, provides access to the full range of official statistical information produced by the Federal Government without having to know in advance which Federal agency produces which particular statistic. With convenient searching and linking capablilties to more than 100 agencies that provide data and trend information on such topics as economic and population trends, crime, education, health care, aviation safety, energy use, farm production and more, FedStats is your one location for access to the full breadth of Federal statistical information.
