Business Source Premier is a powereful business research database, providing full text for more than 2,300 journals, including full text for more than 1,100 peer-reviewed titles. This database is updated daily on EBSCOhost. The database includes thousands of company profiles, country reports, industry and marketing reports and SWOT analyses.

Free (public) database
This is the official U.S. Census Bureau website, providing information about the upcoming 2010 census and access to the 2000 census data. In addition to the standard census tables in the general categories of people and households, business and industry, and geography, the site also provides access to survey and sample data. Information includes anonymous data from many social, financial and medical studies that are conducted by the Bureau of the Census. Population clocks show U.S. and World population estimates updated minute-to-minute.

Computer Database provides full-text and image articles for a wide variety or research applications, including competitive analysis of high tech companies and their products; research on industry trends in telecommunications, electronics and robotics; research on software, hardware, the Internet and LAN and WAN technology; research into multimedia, virtual reality and interactive TV; reviews of consumer products; background research for job hunting. Coverage is 1980-date. Of 1046 indexed and abstracted journals, over 500 are currently indexed; 181 are available in full text.

Working as a global, independent membership organization in the public interest, we conduct research, convene conferences, make forecasts, assess trends, publish information and analysis, and bring executives together to learn from one another. The Conference Board is a not-for-profit organization and holds 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status in the United States.
EconLit, published by the American Economic Association, provides bibliographic coverage of a wide range of economics-related literature. An expanded version of the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) indexes of journals, books, and dissertations, EconLit covers both economic theory and application.
Literature covered is of interest to researchers, academics, product managers, advertisers, product development specialists, and public policy professionals. EconLit includes information that is of prime relevance to many industries and research establishments world-wide.
Over 80% of all current records include abstracts. Also included are fulltext of book reviews published in the Journal of Economic Literature since 1993.

EDGAR, the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system, performs automated collection, validation, indexing, acceptance, and forwarding of submissions by companies and others who are required by law to file forms with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Its primary purpose is to increase the efficiency and fairness of the securities market for the benefit of investors, corporations, and the economy by accelerating the receipt, acceptance, dissemination, and analysis of time-sensitive corporate information filed with the agency.

Emerald Fulltext is a collection of over 42,000 articles from over 100 management and information science journals, complete with full text archives back to 1994 and abstracts back to 1989. Regional Business News incorporates 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires covering all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States. Included in this database are Arizona Business, Business North Carolina, Crain's New York Business (and other Crain Communications editions), Des Moines Business Record, Enterprise Salt Lake City, Fort Worth Business Press, Orange County Business Journal, Westchester County Business Journal, etc.

Highwire Press is a collaborative effort that incorporates online journals from many publishers. This links directly to the publisher listing. Access to over 200 Sage journals is available through Highwire Press. There is also a substantial collection of freely accessible journals from many publishers in Highwire.
STAT-USA/Internet, a service of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is the site for the U.S. business, economic and trade community, providing authoritative information from the Federal government. Data is collected from all government agencies. Full access to the data in the site requires a subscription.

Blackwell Synergy titles are now included in the Wiley Interscience database. Blackwell Synergy contains the online versions of more than 870 scholarly journals published by Blackwell. As of July, 2008, nearly 885,000 full text Blackwell articles are included. Full text is available for all of these journals from at least 2001 (except for new journals) and coverage for some goes back to the 1970s. Listings and indexing on InterScience include ALL Wiley journals as well as the former Blackwell Synergy titles, but with few exceptions, only the Blackwell titles are availaible in full text.
